Together with the Media and Social Media team of the abovementioned event, every member was assigned to cover plenary and various concurrent sessions, with the latter comprising of the following categories: New Media, Family, New Movements, Ecology, School, Social Justice, Parish/BEC, Catechism, Intercultural, and Youth.
Among the distinguished figures in the festivities include figures such as His Eminence Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, Archbishop Salvatore Rino Fisichella, Archbishop Bernardito Auza, Msgr. Pedro Gerardo Santos, and celebrities Alden Richards, Dingdong Dantes, and Dimples Romana.
PCNE was established last 2014 with the aim of gathering new evangelizers to transmit the Christian faith.
In its fourth year, the event gathered all believers to commemorate the Year of the Parish as a Communion of Communities.
Its objectives included: “(1) To lead the participants to a deeper encounter and communion with Jesus, the source of our unity and community; (2) To awaken in the participants a sense of being “for one another” as we reflect on the meaning of Church as communion and the concrete manifestation of a participatory Church; (3) To challenge the participants to a missionary lifestyle and transformation as we explore the necessity of communion-in-mission in being Christians today.
